Veterans Day celebrations at The Buckingham retirement community drew an enthusiastic crowd of resident veterans to honor the United States military and-for some-remember old friends who never came home. More than 40 veterans who call The Buckingham home attended the celebration with their spouses and friends.

Edgemere Receives Highest Award For Distinctive Service
Edgemere, a not-for-profit retirement community located in the Preston Hollow/Park Cities area of Dallas, recently was awarded two Greystone Diamond Awards, the company's highest award, for distinctive service. Edgemere was one of only two communities nationwide to receive two diamonds in Greystone's Distinctive Service Recognition Program. Irving, Texas-based Greystone Development Company developed and manages Edgemere.
